MLK50 is a contender for the operational resilience award. Judges noted how “in a complex, taxing year of transition and disruption, physical and emotional safety for the MLK50 staff became paramount. … The changes they made, from increased digital security to safety trainings, to enhanced healthcare benefits and restructured staff meetings, helped prevent burnout and led to deeper engagement with their residents.”
It’s the second time MLK50 has been acknowledged by LION in this category. In 2024, MLK50 won awards from the organization for operational resilience and financial health.
