In the book “Let This Radicalize You” by Kelly Hayes and Mariame Kaba, a Native organizer, Morning Star Gali, gives some sound advice when it comes to movement work. “Not only do we need rest,” she says, “we also need rejuvenation.”

We embrace that idea at MLK50: Justice Through Journalism. And so, we’ll be taking a publishing break from March 10 through March 14.

While we won’t be publishing new stories on our website during our downtime, we hope you’ll catch up on some of the work we’ve done.

We’ll be back — rested and rejuvenated — on March 17.
